The President’s Advent Invitation Recital at St Mary’s Ewell followed by tea. To include an accompanied Sherlock Holmes silent film.

‘Zoom Concert’ of recordings made by Christopher Town.

Visit to St Michael’s Cornhill including a recital by D’Arcy Trinkwon.

Young Performers Concert at St Mary’s Ewell, KT14 2AY featuring students from the BCOA Strover Organ Tuition Scheme.

Visit to the organ recently rebuilt by Nicholson at St Gabriel’s Pimlico SW1V 2AD  with David King followed by a Pub Lunch. 1.45 p.m. St Saviour, Pimlico with Yvette Murphy to visit the Hill organ (with Historic Organ Certificate) which has recently been restored by Bishops

2024-2025 Past Events

Visit to All Saints Margaret Street

St Margaret’s has a magnificent four-manual, 63 stop, Harrison & Harrison Organ which includes a Tuba stop from Gloucester Cathedral. Dr Stephen Farr will talk to us about his various roles including that of Chief Examiner to the Royal College of Organists. He will then demonstrate the organ and invite us to play.

Visit to St Mildred’s Addiscombe

Richard Mander will tell us about their two organs. The West Organ is a new Nicholson Organ which has been built with Lewis pipework from St Paul’s URC Croydon and the East Organ is a newly restored 1987 Mander. He will demonstrate the new organ for us before inviting us to play it ourselves. Remember that the opening recital will be given by Olivier Latry on November 16th.
